Travis hails from Santa Rosa California, and he grew up entertaining people. His early influences were Robin Williams, Bill Murray, and Weird AL. Growing up, Travis was the shy kid in school, until middle school where he was introduced to theatre. There he quickly broke out of his shell, and became the class clown.
In high school, Travis continued theatre and film classes, creative writing, and even dabbled in sports(that didn't last long). Travis went through school writing scripts and continuing to make people laugh. It became the thing he loved most.
After college and failed attempts to make a name for himself in his home town, Travis moved to Spokane Washington to get a change of pace, being that he never lived on his own anywhere else. He worked in video stores(Kids, that was a place where they sold tapes and digital discs of films for home viewing), and in mental health, where his comedic background came of a greater use, making the mentally ill feel better about themselves. Travis found, much like Dr. Hunter Adams, that laughter was the best medicine. He spent years working with all types and at the same time working through his own issues.
Years went by and Travis met a lot of local talent, one such individual by the name of Glenn Case, introduced him to Will Gillman and Adam Tucker(You know...that Will and Adam). Travis made fast friends with them and eventually got to be a guest on the 2nd episode of the Hustle. Travis must have made an imprrssion, because after a while Will and Adam invited Travis to be their news
